About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a grey velvet armchair paired with a circular marble-top side table and minimalist decor. This furniture set comprises a compact, curved armchair upholstered in a soft grey velvet, resting on a concealed plinth base. Accompanying the seating is a low-profile, round side table finished with a white marble top and a slim gold-toned metal edge. The set is completed by a curated selection of decorative accessories, including a minimalist vase with dried foliage, small books, and a textured bowl. The proportions are balanced for intimate lounge areas, with the soft, organic lines of the chair contrasting against the clean, structural geometry of the marble-topped table.

The download is a 33.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this set is organised by logical naming conventions, allowing for quick selection and material adjustments. Users should check the pivot points for the chair and table to ensure accurate placement on floor surfaces. The velvet material uses standard texture mapping, which can be easily swapped or scaled to suit specific lighting conditions. The accessories are grouped as separate objects, enabling them to be removed or rearranged to suit the specific requirements of the interior scene.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks, this set adds a sophisticated, layered look to any interior project. The neutral palette and high-end material combination of velvet and marble make it a versatile choice for luxury apartment designs or boutique hospitality spaces. Designers often search for this type of grouping when staging lounge areas that require a refined, ready-to-use focal point. It pairs well with modern floor lamps and area rugs to create a complete, cohesive visual story.
