Contemporary Grey Sliding Door Wardrobe with Open Shelving

This contemporary grey sliding door wardrobe for 3ds Max features integrated open display shelving, internal hanging rails, and drawers. Designed for modern bedroom interiors, this wardrobe unit combines functionality with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The main body features two full-height sliding glass doors that provide visibility into the closet interior, which includes integrated hanging rails and modular storage compartments. To the right, an open shelving section offers four levels for decorative display, complemented by three lower drawers finished with slim, horizontal metal pulls. The entire assembly is rendered in a uniform charcoal-grey tone, creating a cohesive look that balances closed storage with open, accessible space for personal items or books.

The download is a 66.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this wardrobe into a 3ds Max scene, users should import the model via a merge command to maintain existing layer structures. The glass panels are set up with appropriate opacity and reflection maps, which can be adjusted in the material editor to suit specific scene lighting. The model is scaled for standard residential ceiling heights; however, users should verify alignment with their floor plane and wall surfaces. Lights within the shelving units are provided as separate elements, allowing for independent control over intensity and colour temperature.
