Contemporary Grey Metal and Wood Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two round nesting units with sleek metal frames and contrasting wooden surfaces. Comprising two distinct round tables, this set offers a tiered arrangement that functions as a versatile coffee and side table combination. The larger table features a dark grey circular top supported by a slim, minimalist metal frame, complemented by a lower circular wooden shelf for additional storage. The smaller, taller unit maintains a matching aesthetic with a clean circular top, designed to partially tuck beneath the larger piece. The slim profile and neutral material palette allow for a refined look, suitable for modern interior settings that require flexible, space-saving surface solutions.

The download is a 16.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designers should merge this set into their 3ds Max scene using the layer manager to keep the accessory geometry separate from the tables. The tables are scaled to standard coffee table heights, but can be adjusted to fit specific lounge configurations. Apply custom wood grain or metal finishes via the material editor to match the project's specific palette. Ensure the pivot points are set to the base of the legs for easy placement on floor planes.

These nesting tables are ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and boutique office waiting areas where floor space is at a premium. They pair effectively with low-profile sectional sofas or modern lounge chairs. Professionals searching for space-efficient, tiered table arrangements will find this set useful for creating layered focal points in interior design schemes. The neutral finish ensures compatibility with various colour palettes, from monochromatic minimalist rooms to warmer, texture-rich contemporary spaces, providing a functional yet unobtrusive furniture element.
