Contemporary Grey Metal and Glass Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two round nesting tables with grey metal frames and clear glass tops. Comprising two distinct circular units, this nesting coffee table set offers a balanced, layered aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. Each table is constructed from a slender, dark grey metal frame that provides a clean, minimalist silhouette. The tabletop surfaces are finished in clear glass, allowing for a light, unobtrusive presence within a room. The design allows the smaller table to tuck neatly beneath the larger one, providing flexible surface area for living spaces. Decorative elements, including a small floral arrangement and a ceramic cup, are included to demonstrate scale and context.

The download is a 17.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate these tables into a 3ds Max scene, import the asset into your project file and ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned for easy placement. Use the layer manager to isolate the tables from the included decorative props if a cleaner look is required. Apply standard PBR materials to the metal and glass shaders to ensure accurate light reflection and refraction. Adjust the scaling as necessary to suit the proportions of your specific floor plan and interior layout.

These tables are well-suited for residential living rooms, modern apartment lounges, or boutique hotel lobbies where space-saving furniture is required. They pair effectively with low-profile sectional sofas or contemporary lounge chairs. Professionals often search for these items when specifying furniture for open-plan homes, staging small apartments, or creating refined, uncluttered lounge areas. Their neutral grey finish and simple geometric form make them a versatile choice for a wide range of interior design styles, from industrial-inspired lofts to high-end contemporary residential projects.
