Contemporary Grey Marble and Wood Partition Shelving Unit

This contemporary SketchUp model features a grey marble and wood partition shelving unit with an integrated desk and ottoman. This multifunctional partition unit serves as both a room divider and a storage solution. It features an L-shaped layout with a grid-style open shelving system on one side, finished in a dark grey tone. The base includes a section of grey marble cladding, while the adjacent side incorporates a floating white desk mounted against a warm wood-grain panel. A tall, slim mirror is integrated into the vertical structure above the desk surface. The assembly includes a small, button-tufted upholstered ottoman in a matching grey fabric, providing a complete, cohesive furniture set for a modern interior.

The download is a 19.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component group, allowing for easy placement within a floor plan or interior scene. Users should check the model axes upon insertion to ensure correct alignment with wall planes. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted in the materials tray to match specific project colour palettes. The geometry is clean, making it suitable for quick integration into larger room layouts without significantly increasing file overhead or slowing down viewport performance.

This unit is ideal for residential or home office projects where space optimisation is required. It functions effectively as a room divider to create distinct zones in open-plan living areas, bedrooms, or studio apartments. Designers can use this asset when searching for custom joinery, partition shelving, or integrated workspace solutions. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary decor styles and works particularly well in luxury apartment renders or professional home office staging where a sophisticated, structured look is desired for client presentations.
