Japanese Zen Garden Bathroom Scene with Wooden Bathtub

This Japanese-inspired bathroom scene for 3ds Max features a traditional wooden bathtub, ambient lighting, and curated garden details. The scene presents a tranquil, spa-like bathroom environment defined by its Japanese minimalist aesthetic. Central to the composition is an oval-shaped timber soaking tub, constructed from vertical staves with dark metal banding. The flooring integrates dark stone tiles with a gravel-filled recessed area, housing smooth white pebbles and geometric stone pathways. Decorative elements include a floor-standing lantern, a sculptural branch-like lamp, and a tall shoji screen adorned with traditional artwork. A hanging lantern provides soft illumination, while the overall atmosphere is enhanced by steam effects and scattered flower petals.

The download is an 18.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a pre-composed 3ds Max scene, this asset is designed for immediate rendering rather than modular assembly. Users should inspect the existing light sources and material assignments within the scene hierarchy to ensure compatibility with their specific render engine settings. Adjustments to the steam effects or ambient light intensity can be managed via the layer manager or environment settings. This file serves as a foundation for architectural visualization, allowing for quick adjustments to camera angles or material finishes to suit project-specific requirements.
