Contemporary Grey Leather L-Shaped Sectional Sofa with Side Table

This contemporary grey leather L-shaped sectional sofa for 3ds Max features an integrated side table, chaise, and plush light-grey cushions. Defined by its low-profile, clean-lined silhouette, this sectional sofa is upholstered in a smooth, dark-grey leather that contrasts with a series of soft, light-grey fabric scatter cushions. The configuration includes a dedicated chaise lounge on one end and a sleek, integrated black metal side table attached to the armrest, providing a functional surface for accessories. A draped, off-white fabric throw adds a layer of texture to the centre of the unit. The base is finished with a recessed, dark plinth, giving the piece a grounded, balanced appearance in any interior.

The download is a 28 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement. The leather and fabric materials are mapped with appropriate tiling and reflection properties, which can be adjusted via the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions. Use standard scene management practices to keep the geometry on a dedicated layer, and consider applying a subdivision modifier if close-up rendering is required to maintain the integrity of the cushion seams and leather creasing.

This sectional sofa is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or luxury hotel lounge areas. Its professional aesthetic pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, area rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Designers often search for this type of modular seating when planning expansive lounge layouts that require both comfort and a built-in functional surface. It is a versatile choice for contemporary interior projects where a sophisticated, monochromatic palette is desired to anchor the space and provide a central focal point.
