About this asset

This Japandi-style 3ds Max shoe cabinet features natural wood construction with woven rattan door panels and a matching coat rack. This entryway storage set includes a freestanding two-door shoe cabinet and a wall-mounted hook rail. The cabinet is finished in a warm natural wood tone, featuring arched door panels inlaid with light-coloured cane webbing. Simple leather or fabric pulls are positioned at the top of each door. A fixed open shelf at the base provides quick access to daily footwear. Above, the matching wooden rail is equipped with three black metal hooks for coats or accessories. The overall aesthetic combines clean, linear forms with organic textures, suitable for modern or Japandi-inspired interiors.

The download is a 23.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing users to toggle the wall-mounted rail and cabinet independently. The geometry is clean, with unwrapped UVs ready for custom wood and rattan material application. When merging into a scene, verify the pivot point at the base of the cabinet for easy placement against walls. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the depth of the rattan weave and the natural grain of the wood textures, ensuring realistic shadows within interior renders.

Ideal for residential entryways, mudrooms, or small hallways, this storage unit provides a functional solution for organising footwear and outerwear. It complements minimalist, Scandinavian, or Japandi-style design schemes, pairing well with neutral wall palettes and indoor greenery. Professionals searching for compact hallway furniture, entryway storage, or cane-accented cabinetry will find this asset versatile for both photorealistic visualisations and interior design planning. The set is particularly useful for adding detail to residential projects where space-efficient furniture is required to maintain a clutter-free, serene atmosphere.
