About this asset

This contemporary armchair features a sculptural, organic frame crafted from dark-stained wood. The design incorporates a curved, continuous backrest that merges seamlessly into integrated armrests, providing a fluid and ergonomic profile. A slim, upholstered seat pad finished in a textured grey leather provides contrast against the dark timber structure. The tapered legs follow the clean lines of the frame, ensuring stability while maintaining a lightweight, minimalist silhouette. Every component is proportioned for comfort, making it an ideal choice for high-end dining environments or sophisticated home office settings where visual elegance is paramount.

The download is an 11.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this component by inserting it directly into your SketchUp model via the component browser. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for seating to maintain scene organisation. The geometry is clean and lightweight, allowing for efficient placement in larger interior scenes. When applying materials, ensure the textures are mapped correctly to the curved surfaces of the backrest. Use standard scene lighting to highlight the depth and grain of the dark wood frame and the tactile quality of the leather upholstery.

This piece is highly versatile, fitting comfortably into modern residential dining rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or executive meeting spaces. Its refined aesthetic pairs well with minimalist dining tables or as a standalone accent chair in a bedroom suite.
