About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp console table features a distinctive layered copper rod base supporting a clear glass top surface. The console table is defined by a sculptural base composed of numerous horizontal metal rods in a polished copper finish. These rods are staggered in length and depth, creating a dense, organic, and highly textured aesthetic that anchors the piece. A rectangular, transparent glass top sits flush on the copper structure, providing a clean, minimalist contrast to the complex base. The model includes an integrated set of decorative abstract sculptures arranged on the surface, which complement the metallic materiality and the contemporary design language of the overall composition.

The download is a 176 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing it as a component into your project file. Ensure the glass material has appropriate transparency settings applied to maintain the visual depth of the base. The layered rod geometry is heavy, so consider placing it on a dedicated layer to toggle visibility during active modelling. Use the native scale tool to adjust dimensions if necessary, ensuring the material mapping for the copper finish remains consistent across the individual rod elements.

This piece is ideal for high-end residential entryways, boutique hotel lobbies, or luxury retail showrooms where a statement feature is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall treatments or textured cladding to highlight the copper finish. Professionals looking for sculptural furniture, luxury console tables, or metallic accent pieces will find this useful for interior staging and visualisation. It works well in transitional or contemporary schemes where mixed materials and complex, tactile forms are used to create visual interest and focal points.
