Contemporary Grey Leather Armchair with Black Wood Base

This contemporary grey leather armchair for SketchUp features a sleek upholstered shell supported by a minimalist black wood frame. This contemporary armchair features a fully upholstered seat and backrest finished in a smooth grey leather. The form is defined by an integrated, wrap-around backrest that transitions into low-profile armrests, creating a cohesive, compact silhouette. Supporting the seat is a robust, four-legged base constructed from dark-stained wood, finished in a deep black. The tapering legs provide a clean, structural aesthetic that balances the softness of the leather upholstery. The proportions are tailored for comfort, suitable for both dining and lounge applications, offering a refined, understated look that integrates well into modern interiors.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised as a single component, allowing for efficient placement and scaling within a scene. The geometry is clean, with materials applied to distinct faces, enabling easy texture replacement or colour adjustments using the material editor. Users can quickly swap the leather finish or wood stain to match specific project palettes. For optimal performance, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for seating to manage scene complexity, especially when populating larger dining or office configurations.
