Contemporary Grey Leather 2-Seater Sofa with Metal Frame

This contemporary 2-seater sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features grey leather upholstery set against a slender, dark metal frame. Defined by its clean, linear aesthetic, this 2-seater sofa features a minimalist metal underframe that supports deep, soft leather cushions. The design balances a slim, industrial-inspired base with generous, plush seat and back cushions, creating a refined profile. The armrests are low and wide, extending slightly beyond the frame, which enhances the horizontal lines of the piece. Upholstered in a muted grey leather with subtle seam detailing, the sofa offers a sophisticated look suitable for high-end interior schemes. The combination of rigid metal structure and soft, supple materials provides a balanced, comfortable seating experience.

The download is a 25.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max project, import the file and ensure the material library is correctly linked to maintain the leather texture mapping. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within a scene using standard snapping tools. Adjust the lighting environment, such as a studio HDRI or interior daylight system, to highlight the leather's subtle highlights and the matte finish of the metal frame. The model is organised in logical layers, facilitating easy selection and material adjustments to suit specific design requirements.
