Contemporary Grey Lacquer Travertine Curved Nightstand

This contemporary 2-drawer nightstand for SketchUp features a curved silhouette, a grey lacquered frame, and a travertine stone top. Defined by a distinct crescent-shaped profile, this nightstand offers a sophisticated storage solution for modern bedrooms. The unit consists of two stacked drawers integrated into a smooth, grey-lacquered carcass. A honed travertine inlay serves as the top surface, providing a textural contrast to the matte finish of the frame. The design is minimalist, omitting traditional hardware in favour of recessed vertical pulls that maintain the clean, continuous lines of the facade. Its compact footprint and curved geometry allow it to sit flush against circular or organic-shaped bed frames, creating a cohesive aesthetic.

The download is an 8.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a clean component, allowing for easy placement within a bedroom scene. Users can apply custom materials to the lacquered surfaces to match specific interior colour palettes, while the stone top is UV-mapped to preserve the natural veining of the travertine. The file is optimised to maintain smooth curves without excessive geometry, ensuring efficient viewport navigation when populating larger residential or hotel bedroom layouts. Ensure the model is placed on the correct layer to manage visibility during rendering.
