Traditional Asian Gate Scene with Zen Garden

This traditional Asian gate scene for 3ds Max features a detailed brick structure and a curated zen garden with bamboo and stone. Comprising two symmetrical, vertically ribbed brick gate pillars, this scene presents a refined interpretation of traditional Asian entrance architecture. The pillars are topped with scalloped stone coping and feature integrated stone plinths adorned with small guardian statues. Between these structures, a dedicated zen garden area is laid out with gravel, weathered boulders, and two bamboo specimens. Two intricately carved stone lanterns sit at the base of the plants, providing a focal point. The assembly is set upon a dark stone-paved base, creating a cohesive, contemplative outdoor environment that balances structural mass with organic textures.

The download is a 30.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this scene is structured for immediate placement into larger exterior masterplans. Users can manage the vegetation and stonework through standard layer-based workflows, allowing for fine-tuning of light interaction on the brick and stone surfaces. The model is scaled for architectural accuracy, enabling straightforward integration into site plans. Texture mapping is applied across the masonry and stone elements, supporting high-quality rendering workflows that require realistic material definition for outdoor lighting conditions.
