About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a king-sized bed with a tall, diamond-quilted upholstered headboard and soft fabric finish. Defined by its generous proportions and soft, tactile aesthetic, this king-sized bed features a prominent, tall headboard with an intricate diamond-quilted pattern. The frame is fully upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, extending to the base for a cohesive, seamless appearance. The design includes a layered bedding set comprising matching pillows, a plush duvet, and a contrasting dark throw at the foot. Its clean lines and soft textures suggest a focus on comfort, making it a versatile option for high-end residential interiors where a sophisticated, monolithic look is desired for the primary bedroom suite.

The download is a 24.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The fabric textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for adjustments to tiling or colour maps if needed. Organise the file by placing the bed and bedding components on separate layers to simplify scene management. For final visualisations, apply a subtle bump or displacement map to the quilted headboard to enhance the depth of the stitching during lighting calculations.

Ideally suited for luxury residential projects, master bedroom suites, and high-end hotel guest rooms, this bed serves as a focal point for contemporary interior schemes. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables and soft, ambient lighting. Designers searching for an upholstered king bed will find this model useful for creating a sense of comfort and refinement in bedroom visualisations. It is frequently employed during the schematic design and final render stages to establish a high-quality, realistic atmosphere in architectural presentations.
