About this asset

This contemporary double bed SketchUp model features an upholstered headboard and base, finished in a neutral grey fabric palette. Defined by its clean, rectangular silhouette, this double bed assembly includes a fully upholstered frame and a tufted-style mattress cover. The headboard is tall and flat, providing a minimalist backdrop, while the base is elevated on slim, dark metal legs. Included in the set are several decorative pillows in varying sizes and a layered throw blanket, adding texture to the overall composition. The neutral colour scheme transitions from light off-white to mid-tone grey, making it a versatile choice for various interior design schemes that prioritise comfort and subtle, modern aesthetics.

The download is a 43.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the file as a component to maintain project organisation. Users should check the model scale against their room dimensions immediately upon insertion. It is recommended to place the bed on a dedicated layer or tag to easily toggle visibility during the modelling process. If further refinement is needed, the individual pillows and blankets can be isolated or scaled to better suit specific room layouts or camera angles within a scene.

This bed is suitable for residential master bedrooms, guest suites, or boutique hotel projects. It pairs effectively with minimalist nightstands and contemporary bedside lighting. Designers often search for this type of asset when visualising serene, high-end sleeping quarters where fabric textures are essential for achieving a soft, inviting atmosphere. It serves as a focal point in bedroom interior renderings, fitting seamlessly into both minimalist and transitional design styles, and is ideal for projects requiring a clean, professional finish for client presentations.
