About this asset

This contemporary double bed for 3ds Max features a soft grey fabric upholstery and a distinctive split-panel headboard design. This contemporary double bed is defined by its clean lines and soft grey fabric upholstery throughout the frame and headboard. The headboard is split into two distinct, padded rectangular sections, each accented with a decorative vertical strap detail at the top. The base frame is low-profile, wrapped in a matching grey textile, and supported by minimal, slim legs. The bedding set includes a dark grey patterned throw, a solid dark grey quilt, and two white pillows, offering a complete, ready-to-use aesthetic for interior visualization projects requiring a neutral, comfortable bedroom focal point.

The download is a 34.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer separation for the frame and bedding components. Users should ensure the scale is verified against the project scene units before merging. The fabric textures are mapped to provide realistic detail; consider adjusting the bump or displacement maps if closer camera angles are required. Lighting should be set up to highlight the soft texture of the upholstery, ensuring the shadows under the frame are correctly calculated for a grounded, natural appearance in the final render.

Ideal for residential bedroom designs, hotel suites, and model apartments, this bed integrates seamlessly into modern and contemporary interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist nightstands, neutral area rugs, and soft ambient bedroom lighting. Professionals searching for a versatile, neutral sleeping solution will find this asset suitable for high-end residential projects or hospitality visualization. Its understated design allows it to work well in various palettes, from monochrome schemes to spaces accented with natural wood or metallic hardware finishes for added contrast.
