About this asset

This contemporary double bed SketchUp model features a fully upholstered frame and headboard finished in a textured grey fabric. This contemporary double bed is defined by its clean, low-profile silhouette and soft, upholstered surfaces. The substantial headboard and bed frame are wrapped in a tactile, grey-toned fabric with a subtle checkered pattern, providing a cohesive and modern aesthetic. The design includes a complete bedding set, featuring matching pillows and a textured throw that drapes naturally over the foot of the bed. Its proportions are suited for spacious primary suites, offering a balanced, neutral foundation that integrates easily into various interior design schemes, from minimalist to more layered, sophisticated bedroom environments.

The download is a 121 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import this model as a component to ensure easy management of the geometry. The fabric textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for quick adjustments to scale or colour through the material editor. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for better scene organisation. If using external renderers, consider applying bump or displacement maps to the fabric textures to enhance the visual depth of the upholstery and bedding details during final visualisation.

Ideal for residential bedroom projects, this bed serves as a versatile focal point in master suites or guest rooms. It pairs well with dark wood side tables and minimalist bedside lighting. Professionals should search for this piece when designing modern, high-end interiors that require a soft, comfortable aesthetic. It is suitable for both conceptual design stages and final high-quality renders for client presentations, particularly in luxury residential or boutique hotel developments where a cohesive, refined bedroom look is required.
