About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp bench features a grey fabric seat on a black metal frame, shown with a decorative throw and accessory. This contemporary bench features a long, rectangular seat upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, supported by a structured black metal frame. The design balances a slim, linear profile with substantial geometric leg supports at either end. The model includes a draped fabric throw and a decorative metal-and-glass accessory set centrally on the seat. The clean lines and monochromatic palette make this a versatile piece for modern interiors, providing a refined aesthetic that avoids unnecessary ornamentation while maintaining a focus on material contrast between the soft textile surface and the rigid structural frame.

The download is a 117 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and placement within your scene. Use the native move and rotate tools to position the bench against walls or at the foot of a bed. Because the materials are applied as standard textures, you can quickly adjust the fabric colour or metal finish using the material editor to match your project specifications. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for better visibility management during your design process.

This bench is suitable for high-end residential projects, particularly in master bedrooms at the foot of a bed, or in entryways and hallways where a slim seating solution is required. It also functions well in hotel lobbies or waiting areas to provide a sophisticated resting spot. Professionals often search for this type of furniture when looking for clean, minimalist seating that complements modern decor. It pairs effectively with contemporary wall art, area rugs, and side tables to complete a curated interior space.
