About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa in 3ds Max features a button-tufted backrest and grey fabric upholstery with decorative scatter cushions. Defined by its elegant, elongated profile, this 3-seater sofa features a high, button-tufted backrest that transitions into gently sloped, low-profile arms. The frame is supported by slender, dark-stained wooden legs, providing a subtle contrast to the neutral grey fabric upholstery. The seat is designed as a single, deep bench cushion for a clean, uninterrupted look. Included are four scatter cushions in varying patterns—solid brown, navy blue with white geometric lines, and a white-and-brown checkered print—adding texture and visual interest to the overall composition of the seating piece.

The download is a 61.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering, allowing for easy separation of the scatter cushions from the main sofa frame. The fabric materials are set up for standard render engines, with UV mapping applied to the upholstery to ensure realistic texture distribution. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the legs to simplify placement on floor planes. Adjusting the fabric tiling or swapping the diffuse maps is straightforward within the material editor for custom colour schemes.

Ideal for residential living rooms, formal sitting areas, or hotel lobbies, this sofa brings a touch of classic refinement to modern interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or side tables, serving as a primary anchor piece in a seating arrangement. Designers searching for elegant, tufted-back furniture will find this asset useful for high-end residential projects, lounge spaces, or boutique retail showrooms where a balance of comfort and sophisticated, timeless styling is required for the final render.
