About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a square table with a central pedestal base and four upholstered chairs in a contemporary aesthetic. The set comprises a square dining table paired with four matching armchairs. The table features a textured, dark-grained top supported by a substantial, matching central pedestal base with rounded profiles. Each armchair is fully upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, providing a soft contrast to the rigid table structure. The chairs are defined by their integrated armrests and feature a decorative metal ring detail on the rear of the backrest. Tapered wooden legs with subtle metallic ferrules complete the design, ensuring a cohesive look across the entire ensemble.

The download is a 3.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this set directly into 3ds Max scenes as a grouped object for efficient placement. The textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for quick adjustments to material properties or surface finishes within the material editor. The chairs are instances, facilitating uniform modifications to the fabric or leg finish. Proper pivot points are maintained at the base of each object, simplifying alignment with floor surfaces or rug components in interior visualisation projects.

This dining set is suited for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel breakfast areas, or sophisticated office breakout spaces. Its compact square footprint makes it a versatile choice for smaller dining nooks or formal apartment settings where space efficiency is required. Professionals often search for this type of contemporary dining furniture when specifying luxury interiors that require a balance of comfort and refined, architectural detailing. It pairs well with minimalist pendant lighting or large-scale wall art to frame the dining area.
