About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a dark wood round table paired with six upholstered armchairs and a pendant light. This dining ensemble includes a large circular table finished in a deep dark wood tone, supported by a substantial central pedestal base. The set is accompanied by six matching armchairs, each featuring a curved backrest and upholstered seat in a contrasting grey and brown fabric scheme. The chair frames are constructed from dark timber, echoing the table’s finish, with subtle metal accents at the base of the legs. A circular dual-ring pendant luminaire completes the scene, providing a cohesive aesthetic that balances warm wood textures with soft fabric upholstery and clean, modern lines.

The download is a 27.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max project, import the file and use the align tool to position the chairs around the table geometry. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of individual chairs or the table assembly. Apply custom materials to the fabric and wood surfaces to match specific project colour palettes. The pendant light can be treated as a separate light object, enabling the user to assign photometric data or emissive shaders to the rings for realistic lighting effects.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, luxury hotel suites, or boutique restaurant interiors, this set serves as a sophisticated focal point. It pairs well with minimalist interior schemes, modern chandeliers, and large-format area rugs. Designers searching for elegant furniture collections for open-plan living areas or formal dining spaces will find this model versatile. It is suitable for use in various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final high-fidelity architectural renders, ensuring a polished look for any contemporary dining environment.
