About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric modular sofa scene for SketchUp features integrated timber side shelving and curated lounge accessories. This modular sofa configuration centres on a low-profile, deep-seated sofa upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, complemented by a mix of scatter cushions in muted grey and beige tones. The frame incorporates a structured timber-finish base that extends into an integrated side table, providing a cohesive surface for the included spherical table lamp and books. The design prioritises clean, geometric lines and a balanced material palette. A dark throw blanket is draped over the chaise section, adding texture and a sense of lived-in comfort to the structured, minimal form of the seating unit.

The download is a 69.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into a project, import the file into your master scene and utilise the layer structure to toggle individual components like accessories or lighting. The geometry is grouped to allow for easy repositioning or resizing of the modular elements. Ensure the texture maps are correctly linked within the material editor to maintain the intended appearance of the fabric and timber finishes. Adjust the lighting parameters to match the ambient environment of your specific interior design proposal for consistent visual output.

Ideal for residential living room visualisations and high-end hospitality lobby designs, this sofa scene provides a ready-made focal point for interior concepts. It pairs effectively with modern rug textures and large-scale abstract wall art. Professionals should search for this item when looking to populate open-plan living areas or lounge spaces with a balanced, sophisticated seating arrangement. Its neutral colour scheme makes it a versatile addition to various contemporary project stages, from initial massing studies to final high-fidelity render presentation and client walkthroughs.
