Contemporary Grey Fabric Lounge Chair with Black Metal Base

This contemporary lounge chair is a SketchUp model featuring a grey fabric upholstered seat resting on a slim black metal frame. This contemporary lounge chair features a soft, textured grey fabric upholstery with visible creasing that suggests a relaxed, inviting aesthetic. The seat is supported by a minimalist, thin-profile black metal frame, providing a sharp contrast to the rounded, organic curves of the upholstered shell. The backrest is integrated into the curved silhouette, creating a cohesive, compact form factor suitable for smaller lounge areas. Proportions are balanced for comfort, with a low profile that maintains an open visual footprint, making it an ideal choice for modern interior schemes requiring refined, understated seating solutions.

The download is a 4.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into a clean component structure, allowing for easy selection and manipulation. Users can apply custom textures to the fabric shell by editing the material definitions within the component. The model is scaled for standard lounge dimensions, though it can be resized using the scale tool if necessary. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to maintain scene organisation, and use the native materials editor to adjust the reflectivity of the black metal base.

This chair is well-suited for contemporary residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive breakout areas in modern office designs. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables or side tables in neutral palettes. Professionals searching for a versatile lounge chair for interior staging or architectural visualisation will find this asset useful for adding character to a seating arrangement. Its clean, unobtrusive design allows it to integrate seamlessly into diverse interior styles, from minimalist apartments to sophisticated commercial waiting areas or quiet reading corners.
