Contemporary Grey Fabric L-Shaped Sofa with Throw

This contemporary grey fabric L-shaped sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a chaise configuration with integrated cushions and a throw. This L-shaped sectional sofa features a clean-lined, contemporary silhouette supported by slender, tapered timber legs. The primary upholstery is a neutral grey textile, complemented by a set of scatter cushions in varying shades of brown. The design includes a fixed chaise section on the right, providing a comfortable lounge profile. A textured, woven throw blanket is draped over the seat cushions, adding a layer of visual softness. The overall form is low-profile and modular in appearance, with tight back cushions that maintain a structured, tidy look suitable for modern interior compositions.

The download is a 17.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The 3ds Max file is structured with logical layer naming to facilitate efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the fabric texture mapping or swap the material ID to suit specific project colour palettes. The model is scaled to real-world dimensions, ensuring accurate placement within interior scenes. Standard lighting setups can be applied to the geometry to achieve realistic fabric highlights and shadows. The cushion and throw elements are grouped for easy manipulation or removal if a minimalist aesthetic is preferred.

Ideal for residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, and boutique hotel lounges, this sofa serves as a primary seating anchor. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, area rugs, and floor lamps to create a balanced, inviting conversation area. Designers frequently source this type of asset for high-end residential projects, contemporary staging, and hospitality lobby designs.
