About this asset

A contemporary living room scene in 3ds Max featuring an L-shaped grey fabric sofa, stone coffee table, and timber ceiling fan. This comprehensive interior scene includes a low-profile L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in a light grey fabric, accented by deep red cushions and a draped throw. The arrangement is grounded by a large, light-toned area rug. A multi-tiered stone coffee table with a polished finish acts as the central focus, complemented by minimalist side tables and a wooden ceiling fan with a dark cylindrical housing. The design prioritises clean lines and a neutral, textured palette, making it a versatile foundational asset for high-end residential interior visualisations and open-plan lounge layouts.

The download is a 44.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should manage this scene by importing the assets as a group or individual blocks depending on the project requirements. The sofa and coffee table come with pre-applied material definitions suitable for 3ds Max workflows. When integrating into a larger floor plan, ensure the scale is verified against the room dimensions. Layers should be organised by object type to facilitate easy toggling of the ceiling fan or accent tables during final render composition and lighting adjustments.

This lounge set is ideal for residential design projects, particularly for staged living room visualisations and apartment interior renders. It pairs well with modern minimalist aesthetics and can be used to populate hospitality lobbies or high-end residential show homes. Professionals searching for a complete furniture configuration will find this useful for rapid layout prototyping. It is suitable for projects at the concept or design development stage where a quick, high-quality furniture arrangement is required to communicate spatial intent effectively.
