About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric-upholstered cube stool with a minimalist black metal backrest and frame. Defined by its geometric, block-like form, this compact stool features a soft, square upholstered seat finished in a neutral grey fabric. The design is supported by a slender black metal frame that transitions into a curved, horizontal backrest. The backrest is attached via simple, rounded connectors, maintaining a clean and industrial-inflected profile. The overall proportions are low and sturdy, making it a versatile piece for modern interiors where space efficiency and minimalist aesthetics are prioritised. All visible components, from the fabric texture to the matte metal finish, are modelled for standard close-up visualisation.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a project, simply merge the file into your scene and apply your preferred materials to the existing UV maps. The object is scaled for standard seating dimensions, though adjustments may be necessary to match specific task heights. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy placement on floor surfaces. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the contrast between the matte fabric and the darker metal accents for a realistic look.
