About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric cube chair with a black metal frame, presented as a curated lounge set. This contemporary accent chair features a distinct boxy, cube-shaped seat upholstered in a textured grey fabric. The frame is constructed from slender black metal, which extends to form a minimalist back support topped with a small, curved fabric-covered headrest. The design is complemented by a matching black side table with a cylindrical pedestal base and a circular top. This compact ensemble offers a clean, geometric silhouette suitable for modern interiors. Every component is clearly defined, with the chair providing a sculptural profile while the accompanying table adds functional surface space to the set.

The download is an 11.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the chair and table assets. Users can apply custom materials to the fabric upholstery and metal frame to match specific project colour palettes. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient performance when populating larger interior scenes. Simply merge the asset into your active project file, adjust the pivot points for precise placement, and utilise standard lighting setups to highlight the fabric texture and the matte finish of the metal components.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary office breakout areas, this chair and table set works well as a standalone feature or a conversational nook. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor and neutral colour schemes. Interior designers often search for such compact, geometric seating when specifying furniture for tight corners, reading areas, or small apartment floor plans. The set provides a balanced, ready-to-use solution for visualising refined, modern spaces where furniture scale and silhouette are critical to the overall scheme.
