Contemporary Grey Fabric and Black Leather Sectional Sofa

This contemporary sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a contrasting grey fabric and black leather finish with deep button tufting. This low-profile sectional sofa combines two distinct textures and finishes to create a striking visual contrast. The primary section is upholstered in a tactile, light grey fabric, while the integrated chaise or corner element is finished in smooth, dark black leather. Both sections feature a signature tufted, grid-stitched pattern across the seat and backrest surfaces. The modular design includes several loose scatter cushions in complementary dark tones and a draped textile throw. Its minimalist, block-like silhouette emphasises clean lines, making it a versatile centrepiece for open-plan living areas or modern lounge environments.

The download is a 30.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the scene units match the original file to maintain accurate proportions. The geometry is organised by material, allowing for easy adjustment of fabric and leather shaders to suit specific lighting conditions. Use standard material slots to refine bump or displacement maps on the tufted upholstery for added realism. The model is well-suited for high-quality interior visualisations, providing a clean base for adding secondary lighting or environmental assets to complete the scene composition.
