About this asset

Suspended on fine wire cables, this contemporary white disc pendant light 3ds Max model provides diffuse ambient illumination for modern interiors. The luminaire features an organically sculpted, undulating disc diffuser finished in clean matte white. Suspended from a compact, circular ceiling canopy, the low-profile shade hangs via multiple delicate tension wires that maintain its horizontal orientation. Subtle soft-edged ripples across the shade create gentle surface variation and continuous curves. At the center, a discreet hardware hub connects the suspension cables to the diffuser assembly. The refined, floating profile conveys lightness and visual calm, balancing broad overhead diffusion with an understated sculptural silhouette.

The download is a 4.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Delivered as a native 3ds Max asset, the fixture can be merged directly into your architectural interior scene. Adjust the suspension cable length in sub-object mode or via vertex translation to match specific ceiling heights and clearance requirements. The material setup is configured for diffuse translucency; assigning a photometric light source or an internal mesh emitter will achieve realistic downward and ambient illumination during final rendering.

Ideal for high-end residential, boutique hospitality, and creative workplace projects, this fixture works naturally above dining tables, kitchen islands, lounge coffee tables, or executive desks. Its organic geometry softens rigid architectural lines in Japandi, minimalist, and contemporary schemes. Visualisers and designers specifying an organic suspension lamp, floating disc chandelier, or soft white ceiling luminaire can incorporate this piece seamlessly into reception seating groupings and residential dining layouts.
