About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa 3ds Max model features a grey fabric upholstery contrasted by black leather armrests and gold-toned metal base details. This 3-seater sofa presents a linear, low-profile silhouette typical of modern luxury living room furniture. The main seating and backrest cushions are upholstered in a textured grey fabric, while the outer armrests are finished in a dark, smooth leather. A distinctive gold-toned metal plinth runs along the base, complemented by matching metallic corner accents at the armrests. The piece includes two sets of decorative scatter cushions, adding depth to the overall composition. Its modular appearance suggests a clean, grounded aesthetic that balances soft textile textures with hard metallic and leather finishes.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with distinct material IDs for the fabric, leather, and metal elements, allowing for easy adjustment of shaders. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate placement on floor surfaces. Given the high-detail nature of the upholstery, applying a standard UV map or adjusting the tiling in the material editor will ensure the fabric texture scales realistically within a wide-angle interior render or a close-up shot.

This sofa is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive lounge areas. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or low-slung media units. Architects and interior designers searching for premium seating options for luxury projects will find this model suitable for rendering sophisticated, contemporary spaces. It works effectively as a focal point in a formal sitting area, especially when placed on a neutral rug that highlights the gold metallic base and the contrasting grey and black material palette.
