About this asset

This contemporary modular sectional sofa in 3ds Max features a sprawling L-shaped configuration with mixed fabric upholstery and accent cushions. This expansive modular sectional sofa features a low-profile silhouette with deep, generous seating. The composition includes a chaise end, a central tufted dark grey ottoman-style section, and a corner arrangement finished in crisp white and light grey fabric. The structure is grounded by a recessed dark base, creating a floating aesthetic. A collection of loose, square scatter cushions in contrasting beige and deep purple hues provides visual interest and comfort. The clean lines and monochromatic palette make this a versatile piece for open-plan living spaces requiring a defined lounge zone.

The download is a 30.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max project, use the merge command to import the file into your master scene. The sofa is organised by object layers, allowing for easy adjustment of the individual modules or the removal of scatter cushions to suit specific camera angles. Ensure that you check the scale against your floor plan before placement. The fabric textures are mapped with standard UV coordinates, making it straightforward to swap out materials or adjust the tiling scale for high-resolution close-up renders.
