Contemporary Grey and Black Lacquer Wine Cabinet

This contemporary 3ds Max wine cabinet features a modular grey and black lacquer finish with integrated glass storage and shelving. This floor-to-ceiling storage unit combines solid grey cabinet doors with open black display shelving, creating a balanced aesthetic for high-end interiors. The central section incorporates a slatted back panel and under-cabinet racks for stemware, while the flanking vertical towers provide dedicated compartments for wine bottles and decorative accessories. The clean-lined design utilizes a monochromatic palette, contrasted by slim metallic trim elements. All hardware is concealed to maintain the minimalist profile, and the internal layout is segmented for both functional beverage storage and aesthetic display of books and curated objects.

The download is a 5.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering, allowing for easy separation of the cabinet carcase, shelving, and internal accessories. Users should apply high-quality material shaders to the lacquer and glass surfaces to ensure realistic reflections in final renders. The unit is scaled to standard joinery heights, making it straightforward to snap against wall geometry. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment to properly capture the subtle highlights on the metallic edges and the transparency of the glass elements.
