Contemporary Green Velvet Pleated Lounge Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a distinct pleated velvet backrest and a compact, sculptural silhouette for interiors. Defined by its striking radial pleating, this lounge chair creates a sculptural focal point in any room. The deep green velvet upholstery is contrasted by visible inner folds, adding depth and texture to the circular backrest design. The seat continues the pleated motif, flowing seamlessly into the curved frame. Supported by slender, dark metal legs, the piece maintains a lightweight aesthetic despite its substantial, enveloping form. This chair provides a comfortable, semi-circular seating experience, balancing high-fashion aesthetics with functional ergonomics. The precise geometry of the folded fabric highlights the meticulous attention to detail in its construction.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the upholstery and leg components. Users should apply a standard fabric material with appropriate bump or displacement maps to capture the intricate pleating detail during rendering. The chair is scaled to standard lounge dimensions, though it is recommended to verify the local coordinate system upon insertion. Proper lighting placement is essential to accentuate the soft reflections on the velvet surface, which can be achieved through targeted area lights or HDRI environments.
