About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a deep green velvet upholstered seat contrasted by slender metallic legs with gold accents. Defined by its semi-circular backrest and compact, upholstered seat, this bar stool balances soft textures with a rigid metal structure. The seat is finished in a rich, dark green velvet, providing a tactile contrast to the sleek, dual-tone legs. These legs transition from a neutral upper section to a polished gold finish at the base, connected by a slender X-shaped footrest. The proportions are balanced for high-counter seating, offering a refined silhouette suitable for luxury interiors that require a touch of glamour and sophisticated material layering.

The download is a 7.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor geometry. The velvet material uses a standard shader, which may require adjustment of the specular highlights or anisotropy to achieve a realistic fabric sheen. Users should check the scale against standard bar height requirements before finalizing the layout. The model is presented as a single, clean asset, making it efficient for populating large hospitality or residential interior visualizations.

This bar stool is a frequent choice for high-end residential kitchen islands, boutique hotel cocktail bars, and upscale restaurant counters. Its luxurious aesthetic pairs effectively with marble-topped surfaces, dark timber cabinetry, or polished brass detailing. Designers searching for elegant, modern seating solutions will find this piece useful for establishing a focal point in open-plan living spaces. It functions well when arranged in sets along a breakfast bar or as a standalone accent chair in a sophisticated home bar or lounge area.
