Contemporary Floor-Length Pleated Fabric Curtains

Contemporary floor-length pleated fabric curtains for SketchUp, featuring uniform vertical folds and a clean, minimalist aesthetic. These floor-length curtains feature a classic pleated header, creating consistent, rhythmic vertical folds that extend to the floor. The geometry is designed to mimic the natural drape of medium-weight fabric, providing a soft, architectural finish to any window or partition. The model is presented in a neutral, light-toned finish, suitable for a wide range of interior palettes. The pleats are evenly spaced across the entire width, offering a balanced and formal appearance that works well in both residential and commercial settings. The simple, clean lines ensure versatility across various interior design styles.

The download is a 10 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtains are best managed as a component to allow for easy scaling and repositioning along wall surfaces. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for visibility control. Given the pleated geometry, it is recommended to apply a seamless fabric texture map with appropriate UV scaling to maintain the integrity of the folds. The model is lightweight, making it ideal for populating large architectural scenes without significantly impacting viewport performance or rendering times.

Ideal for residential bedrooms and living areas, these curtains also suit hotel suites and professional office partitions where a clean, finished look is required. They pair effectively with modern interior schemes, adding softness to rooms defined by hard surfaces like stone or timber. Designers looking for window dressings, drapery, or textile partitions will find this asset useful for visualising light control and interior depth. Search for these by terms such as window treatments, pleated drapes, or interior textiles for architectural visualization.
