About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a grey upholstered seat shell supported by a sturdy black-stained timber frame structure. The bar stool presents a clean, contemporary profile with a subtle, curved backrest that flows seamlessly into a comfortable, padded seat. The upholstery is rendered in a soft, textured grey fabric, providing a tactile contrast to the rigid, geometric lines of the base. Its frame is constructed from solid wood, finished in a deep matte black, and includes integrated footrests on all four sides for structural stability and user comfort. The proportions are balanced, making it an ideal choice for high-counter applications where both aesthetic appeal and ergonomic support are required for daily use.

The download is a 5.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and material adjustments. The geometry is clean and scaled to real-world units, ensuring efficient placement in interior scenes. Users can easily swap the fabric texture or wood finish by updating the assigned material slots in the Slate Material Editor. The file is structured to be merged directly into existing projects, with pivot points correctly positioned at the floor level for immediate snapping to counter surfaces.
