Contemporary Decorative Rug Set with Eight Assorted Patterns

A collection of eight decorative rugs in SketchUp format, featuring diverse contemporary patterns in rectangular and circular configurations. This set includes eight distinct area rugs, showcasing a variety of aesthetic styles suitable for diverse interior schemes. The collection comprises six rectangular rugs and two circular pieces, each finished with unique surface patterns. Textures range from abstract geometric blocks and distressed monochrome gradients to intricate botanical prints and classic herringbone weaves. These assets are modelled as flat, low-profile elements, designed to sit directly on floor planes. The variation in size and visual motif allows for flexible application, providing options that range from minimalist neutral tones to bold, expressive graphic statements.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 8 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are provided as individual components or a grouped set, allowing for easy selection and placement. Professionals should ensure the rug components are positioned slightly above the floor geometry to prevent z-fighting during rendering. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or scaled within the material editor to adjust tiling density. For high-quality visualisations, users may choose to replace the native textures with custom PBR materials to better reflect specific fabric qualities.
