Contemporary Dark Wood Rectangular Work Desk

This contemporary 3ds Max work desk features a dark wood rectangular top supported by sculptural, fluted-profile pedestal bases. This executive-style work desk presents a refined, minimalist aesthetic suitable for professional or home office environments. The tabletop is finished in a dark, stained wood veneer that highlights a subtle grain pattern, extending into a soft, radiused rectangular form. The support structure consists of two substantial, vertical pedestal bases, each defined by a deep, fluted channel design that adds visual weight and architectural interest. The overall silhouette is balanced and stable, providing ample surface area for computing or administrative tasks while maintaining a clean, uncluttered profile that integrates well with various interior styles.

The download is a 35.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, users should check the pivot point alignment to ensure correct placement on the floor plane. The object is structured with logical material IDs, allowing for straightforward texture adjustments or the application of custom finishes to the wood surfaces. It is recommended to apply a high-quality wood map with appropriate bump settings to maintain the fidelity of the grain when rendering in close-up shots. The geometry is clean, facilitating efficient lighting calculations during final production.
