About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a twelve-drawer wooden chest styled with a table lamp, a glass vase, and stacked books. The central piece is a wide, twelve-drawer chest finished in a deep charcoal tone, featuring clean lines and circular pull handles. The surface is curated with a metallic-based table lamp with a simple cylindrical shade, a small green glass vase containing a tall decorative plant, and a small stack of books. The proportions are balanced, providing a functional storage unit that serves as a focal point for bedroom or hallway interiors. Each element is modelled to capture the interplay between the matte timber texture of the chest and the reflective qualities of the lamp and glass.

The download is a 52.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised as a single collection, allowing for easy placement within a scene. Users can merge the assembly into a larger project file, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base of the chest for snapping to floor planes. Materials are assigned to individual objects, enabling quick adjustments to the timber finish or lamp shade fabric. The plant and accessories are grouped for efficient manipulation or removal, depending on the specific staging requirements of the interior visualisation.

This storage and decor set is suited for residential bedroom designs, walk-in closets, or boutique hotel suites where a refined, organised aesthetic is required. It pairs well with neutral palettes and modern furniture configurations. Professionals can use this asset to populate architectural visualisations, specifically for staging nightstands or dressing areas.
