Contemporary Dark Grey Wood 8-Seater Dining Set

This 3ds Max dining set features a contemporary rectangular table and eight upholstered curved-back wooden chairs with table decor. This eight-seater dining configuration centers around a clean-lined, rectangular table with a dark grey top and slender wooden legs. The eight accompanying chairs feature a distinctive curved backrest design that flows into the armrests, creating a cohesive, organic silhouette. Each chair is fitted with an off-white upholstered seat pad, providing a soft contrast to the warm timber frame. The set includes a curated arrangement of table decor, specifically small ceramic vessels and a plant, which are included as part of the scene to add a lived-in, realistic aesthetic to the composition.

The download is a 13.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this set is best managed by grouping the individual chairs to the table assembly for easy placement within a floor plan. Ensure the pivot points for the chairs are aligned at the base for accurate rotation and positioning around the table perimeter. The materials are mapped for standard lighting setups; users should verify texture paths upon loading the file to ensure the wood grain and fabric properties render correctly within the scene's global illumination environment.

This dining set is suited for high-end residential dining rooms, luxury hotel breakfast areas, or professional hospitality design projects. Its balanced, neutral palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into minimalist or contemporary interiors. Designers often search for these pieces when specifying furniture for open-plan living spaces where the dining area requires a sophisticated, non-intrusive focal point. It pairs effectively with modern pendant lighting and textured area rugs to define the dining zone within larger floor plates or multi-functional commercial environments.
