Contemporary Dark Brown Wood X-Base Side Table

This contemporary 3ds Max side table features a distinctive X-base design finished in a deep dark brown wood, complete with decor. This side table presents a clean, contemporary silhouette defined by its intersecting X-frame base. The structure is crafted from a dark-toned wood, providing a solid and minimalist aesthetic. The tabletop features subtle, slightly raised edges, creating a tray-like surface that adds both visual interest and a practical detail for containing objects. The proportions are compact, making it an ideal choice for placement beside lounge seating. The model includes a set of glass decanters and a black tray as decorative accessories, which are positioned centrally on the surface to demonstrate scale and context.

The download is an 8.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised as a single object, allowing for straightforward placement in your scene. Users should check the pivot point upon import to ensure ease of positioning against sofas or armchairs. The material slots are clearly defined, enabling quick adjustments to the wood finish or the addition of custom textures to match specific interior palettes. Proper lighting setup, particularly using a soft area light or HDRI, will best highlight the subtle bevels and dark wood grain characteristics.
