Contemporary Cream Fabric Sofa with Rattan Backing and Console

This contemporary SketchUp model features a cream fabric three-seater sofa with a woven rattan back and an integrated central console. The sofa features a clean-lined rectangular silhouette, upholstered in a smooth, neutral cream fabric. Its defining aesthetic element is the back and side panels, which are encased in a dark-toned frame and finished with a detailed woven rattan texture. A functional wooden console is seamlessly integrated into the centre of the seating area, providing a flat surface for small accessories and an open storage niche. The piece is elevated on slender, minimalist legs, maintaining a lightweight profile despite its substantial length. Several decorative scatter cushions in muted tones accompany the sofa design.

The download is a 16.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy adjustment of the cushion placement or material swaps on the fabric and wood surfaces. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly within their scene before applying textures. The integrated console is a separate component, making it simple to toggle if a variation without the storage unit is required. For high-quality visualisations, apply appropriate material settings to the rattan mesh to capture its depth and intricate weave pattern effectively.

This piece is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or sophisticated lounge areas. Its blend of organic rattan and modern fabric makes it an ideal choice for interior designers seeking a tactile, contemporary look that bridges the gap between natural warmth and structured elegance. Architects can specify this model in projects requiring a focal point for open-plan seating arrangements, where the integrated console adds both utility and visual interest to the standard three-seater sofa typology.
