About this asset

This contemporary cream fabric curved sectional sofa for 3ds Max features an organic silhouette with integrated scatter cushions. This contemporary sectional sofa is defined by a deep, continuous curve that creates a fluid, organic silhouette. The piece is upholstered in a textured cream-coloured fabric, which provides a soft, tactile finish across the frame. It features a low, wrap-around backrest that transitions seamlessly into the seat base, creating a cohesive, monolithic form. Included in the set are two decorative scatter cushions—one in a solid teal fabric and another with a monochromatic houndstooth pattern—along with a draped, striped throw blanket that adds a casual, layered aesthetic to the seating arrangement.

The download is a 15.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilising this model in 3ds Max requires standard asset management practices. The geometry is provided as a single unit; users should verify pivot points upon import to ensure ease of placement within a floor plan. Materials are mapped to the fabric surfaces, allowing for quick adjustments to tiling or colour variations via the material editor. The cushions and throw are separate elements, enabling users to reposition or remove them to suit specific interior compositions or camera angles without altering the main sofa frame.

This sofa is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment lounges, or boutique hotel lobby seating areas. Its organic, curved profile works well in open-plan spaces where it can serve as a focal point or a soft partition. Designers often pair this piece with minimalist coffee tables or low-profile area rugs to accentuate its contemporary lines.
