About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining chair combines a rich walnut frame with cream boucle upholstery for a sophisticated, sculptural aesthetic. Defined by its distinct sculptural silhouette, this dining chair features a solid walnut frame that extends upward to form the armrests and back support. The seat and curved backrest are upholstered in a textured cream-coloured boucle fabric, providing a soft contrast to the deep, polished wood grain. The design utilizes a central vertical support element at the rear, contributing to its balanced, architectural form. The proportions are tailored for dining comfort, with integrated armrests that curve seamlessly into the frame structure, making it a standout piece for curated interior schemes requiring refined seating solutions.

The download is a 13.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The file is optimized for 3ds Max, allowing for straightforward integration into interior scenes. Users can easily adjust the wood material's grain orientation or the boucle fabric's scale using standard UV mapping coordinates. The object is clean and ready for placement, functioning well as a standalone focal point or arranged in a dining set. For optimal results, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement on various floor surfaces within the scene.

This chair is suited for high-end dining rooms, luxury hospitality projects, and boutique hotel interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist dining tables in stone or dark wood, offering a textural accent that softens modern spaces. Interior designers often specify this piece for residential projects where a blend of comfort and sculptural geometry is required.
