About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa in 3ds Max features a curved organic silhouette upholstered in a soft, textured cream boucle fabric. Defined by its soft, rounded geometry, this three-seater sofa prioritises comfort through its deep, curved seat and continuous backrest. The upholstery is a high-texture, off-white boucle fabric that adds warmth and tactile depth to the piece. It includes two decorative throw cushions—one featuring a subtle striped pattern and another with a neutral weave—along with a draped woven throw in a warm terracotta and cream geometric pattern. The low-profile design and sweeping, continuous lines create a sculptural focal point suitable for modern living spaces that favour organic, inviting forms.

The download is a 54.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material adjustments. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient subdivision if higher detail is required for close-up shots. Users should ensure that the texture maps for the boucle fabric are correctly pathed upon import. Given the organic nature of the piece, applying a subtle noise modifier or adjusting the fabric tiling can help prevent repetitive patterns when rendering from multiple angles in a professional scene.

This sofa is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary lounge areas where soft, sculptural seating is required. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, textured wool rugs, and floor lamps with warm ambient light. Designers searching for organic, soft-seating solutions will find this piece effective for creating inviting, relaxed environments. It is frequently requested for projects focusing on comfort-driven, modern interior aesthetics, often placed alongside neutral decor and natural timber elements to enhance its organic, tactile quality.
