About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max scene features a charcoal wood media wall with integrated open shelving, a central artwork, and a fireplace. This comprehensive media wall unit is designed as a floor-to-ceiling focal point, combining dark wood panelling with a slim, vertical open-shelf tower on the left. The composition centres on a large-scale abstract artwork flanked by vertical timber grain panels. A minimalist horizontal gas fireplace is recessed into the lower section, which sits atop a dark, veined marble hearth. To the right, a small marble plinth supports a sculptural bust, balancing the asymmetry of the shelving. The overall finish is dark and monochromatic, focusing on texture contrast between the wood, stone, and metal shelving components.

The download is a 32 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the scene units match your project scale before merging the asset. The media wall is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the shelving, fireplace, and cladding elements. Apply custom textures to the wood panels and marble base to better suit specific lighting conditions. Use the included geometry as a base for customising the shelving layout or adjusting the integrated lighting around the fireplace aperture to suit your specific interior render requirements.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, luxury apartment lounges, or boutique hotel lobby designs, this media wall serves as a sophisticated architectural feature. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes, acting as a strong visual anchor. Professionals searching for feature walls, bespoke joinery, or integrated living room storage solutions will find this model effective for project visualisations. It is particularly suited for high-detail interior design presentations where a refined, dark, and masculine aesthetic is requested by the client.
