About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max media unit features a charcoal wood finish contrasted by a book-matched marble feature panel. This large-scale feature wall unit combines functional media storage with high-end aesthetic detailing. The base consists of a low-profile charcoal-stained wood cabinet with multiple storage compartments. Above, a vertical fluted wood panel spans the width, providing a textured backdrop. The central focus is a large book-matched white marble slab with dramatic black veining, integrated to mount a television. Flanking this central panel are open shelving units with integrated backlighting, ideal for displaying decorative objects or books. The overall composition balances minimalist geometric lines with the natural, organic pattern of the stone.

The download is a 10.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single assembly, making it straightforward to position against a wall plane. Users should ensure the pivot point is aligned to the rear face for accurate placement. The materials are assigned by object ID, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain direction or marble texture mapping. Lighting is handled through the embedded light objects within the shelving, which can be adjusted via standard light intensity parameters to suit the scene's overall exposure.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms or luxury hotel suites, this unit serves as a sophisticated focal point for modern interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes, allowing the marble veining to provide visual interest without clutter. Designers searching for bespoke joinery solutions or feature wall concepts will find this asset essential for creating polished, professional presentations in interior design projects. It is particularly suited for high-end apartment developments where integrated media storage is a key requirement.
