Mid-Century Grey Fabric and Wood Armchair

This mid-century 3ds Max armchair model features a distinctive angular wooden frame paired with soft grey fabric upholstery. Defined by its iconic mid-century aesthetic, this armchair features a robust wooden frame with characteristic splayed legs and integrated armrests. The design prioritises structural clarity, with the timber frame providing a warm contrast to the neutral grey fabric cushions. The seat and backrest are upholstered as distinct, padded elements, offering a balance of comfort and clean lines. The armrests are wide and flat, adding a functional detail that complements the retro profile of the chair. Its compact footprint and open silhouette make it an ideal choice for smaller living spaces or reading corners.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, import the geometry using the merge command to preserve existing scene layers. The materials are mapped to standard objects, allowing for easy adjustment of fabric textures or wood grain shaders to match your specific scene lighting. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement. When rendering, check that the light interaction with the fabric finish is correctly calibrated within your chosen engine to maintain the soft, diffused look shown.
