About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV cabinet features a charcoal wood finish and brass framing, providing a sleek media storage solution. This low-profile television console presents a clean, linear silhouette defined by a dark charcoal-finished wood body. It is supported by a distinctive brass-toned metal frame that wraps around the side profiles, adding a metallic contrast to the matte timber surfaces. The unit is divided into four horizontal storage compartments, each fronted by matching charcoal drawer panels. The top surface provides a wide, flat platform suitable for media equipment or decorative items. The overall design prioritises geometric simplicity, balancing the warmth of the metallic base with the sophisticated, muted tones of the cabinet body.

The download is a 5.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the file into your master project file. Ensure the unit is placed on the floor plane using the align tool for precision. The materials are pre-configured; confirm that the texture paths are correctly re-linked if the asset appears without maps. For lighting, apply a soft HDR environment to highlight the reflective qualities of the brass frame against the matte charcoal wood surfaces.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, this media console pairs effectively with minimalist interiors or luxury apartment schemes. It serves as a focal point in modern media rooms or sophisticated hotel suites when placed beneath wall-mounted screens. Architects and interior designers often search for low-profile storage that balances wood and metal finishes for contemporary projects. It complements neutral palettes and works well in spaces requiring refined, clutter-free storage solutions, bridging the gap between functional media utility and high-end aesthetic appeal.
